All these pictures were taken Sunday at Shaw's Wharf in New Harbor. You watched them bring in the lobsters then went inside ordered your meal and sat outside to eat. We started with steamers (for the uninitiated this is steamed clams which you break open dunk the clam in broth to rinse the grit and then in butter). Hazel had a single lobster and I had fried clams. The clams just melted like butter in my mouth. Of course we had rolls, French fries (frites or chips), cole slaw and Cokes. Then they rolled us off the deck. On the way home we stopped in Portland at Beal's for ice cream. Perfect day. Going out tonight for more seafood.
I love this colorful, story-telling collage, Joan. It is a fav. You sound like my sister, there is always room for ice cream. I think we went through three or four half gallons while she was here, lol.
Fantastic collage, Joan! Separately the three photos are fantastic, but they have such a great progression - and I really love how each one is a different, bright primary color. Great work.
