Yep, the savings is taking a big hit this week. OUCH! This is my last big project before retirement. Now I feel the house is in good shape for me to enjoy. BUt the big thing today is I had a big ahah moment. I have been playing with histogram and on dreary days like we've had recently, I have been very frustrated. But today I go it right. Well maybe not perfect but not a black blob. Busy evening already helping a friend post her picture for her avatar on Weight watches, answering a friends question, and working on my pictures. Going to try to get some commenting done but not easy Two cuddled on my arms. LOL
Boy, that brings back memories and I'm so glad we're done with our demolition. Once it's done you'll love it Joan! A wonderful shot that will always remind you of a job well done!
Great dumpster shot - it's very full! Roof project? That's next on my list after just having replaced all of my 90 year old windows. I'm noticing the improvement in heat retention already.
@shesnapped I moved to manual rather than Aperture or shutter priority. then said this is dark I need to keep the shutter open for a longer period, need a higher ISO and a Fstop that I hoped would work. The first picture there was the light I was looking for and there was a more rounded histogram instead of one mostly on the dark side. I tried using manual before and I was so uninformed my mentor said to use AV but now I think in some cases he has given me the confidence to go to manual. I am such a visual person that the histogram speaks to me more than all the talk about when to use what fstop. etc. I understand enough to move things to adjust my histogram. Getting there.
@aponi You know I hadn't even noticed that. But I had a picture of that board because I was playing with leading line and it is indeed a hose. I knew it had to be as cold as it was but really it scared even me when I saw it.
uh that's a hose there on the lower left right, not a snake?
so a party?? Ha ha
