A view from the ridge.

Last Sunday I made myself get out of the house and take some photos. I went up on one of the ridges overlooking my small city. I like this birdhouse. I played a little with bw as I was inspired to go out to take photos by @vignouse but I liked better the layers of colors. Not a lot of color around right now. I though of removing the Christmas lights but frankly just didn't have the time. Bet it would make a good night picture and maybe next year I'll have the energy to try. LOL

Lovely shot! It's hard to tell how big it is, seems there might be some compression because the trees behind look huge so it's making the birdhouse look huge too... maybe it is.
