Coming back from Acadia we took the long route going through Blue Hill, Stonington (actually down Deer Isle and back), and Castine. Castine is the home of the Maine Maritime Academy. This is their training boat. The train Merchant Marines here. And in this day and age they have to learn a lot including combat. I think they were getting ready for a short cruise.
This was one big ship! The ship was in a location that was hard to fit it all into the frame and the weather was really grey. Still was fun to see all the young trainees all over the place some saying goodbye to their loved ones.
