The view behind

I am willing to bet that we all do this. Recently I saw a similar one on someone else's project and when I saw this shot I had to take it. But I liked the idea and the bw and color combination hopefully giving it a twist.
Fabulous!

I really like the color/b&w combination.

Love, love, love! FAV!

I really like the way that you're beginning to push the boundaries of what you can do with your photography.

love mirror shots

I love the processing you accomplished here Joan!

This is very cool. I like the photo as is and really like it with the color just in the rear view mirror. Very clever!!

I really want to do a shot like this as well. I'm just so rarely in a car and when I am it seems the scenery isn't that interesting. Yours, in contrast, is terrific with the scene framed in the mirror.

Very clever and well done!

Well done!!!

@taffy Come to Maine and as your proffered tour guide you can borrow my rear view mirror. There are places we might get a lighthouse in the rear view.
December 23rd, 2015
I really like this and the way youve used the b&w with colour

Fantastic shot, and a great edit too.
And how about those Pats? It looks like they will be playing for the big one again this year.
December 23rd, 2015
Hey Joan, where is this? Been trying to figure it out?
December 23rd, 2015
@karlow75 Oh we don't count our chickens before they hatch. Pats focus on winning the next came. We first need to get home field advantage through out the playoffs. The good news is I am pretty sure we won't have to play the Giants. LOL Your Colts looked good for a while.

@dianen Wells, just a little past the old fire house that isn't there any more and before you get to the picture I am posting tonight. I live closer to Wells, than any other beach. I only work in Portland.

@dianen This spring before the tourists come we should get together and I would love to show you some photo places in York County.
December 23rd, 2015
Great shot, I love this idea and I like how you combined the B&W and Colour. Well done.
December 23rd, 2015
@joansmor yes, it ended up a horrible year for the Colts. With Brady playing some of the best games of his career, and (one of my favourite players) Gronk back, they are looking very good.
December 23rd, 2015
@karlow75 Do you think Peyton is coming back. I mean this is like a 365r who has lost their camera and only has one of those one time use cameras you buy at the grocery store and even it has a tear in the box. You have years to live why risk being injured once again. You guys can explain that to me.
December 23rd, 2015
Yes it's always a great idea when the scene behind is great :)
December 23rd, 2015
@joansmor We should definitely do that! I am not overly familiar with York county. Hell if winter keeps up like this we could do it next month! Not holding my breath though!
December 23rd, 2015
@joansmor love the idea!
December 23rd, 2015
Great shot, I really like the way you have processed this.
December 23rd, 2015
This is fascinating - love the b&w/color combination - makes a neat twist. Composed in the mirror very nicely.
December 23rd, 2015
nicely done! I love shots that use color in this kind of way.
