I was texting a friend early this morning and told her I had to run the sun was coming up and I wanted pictures. I dashed out of the door about 6 am and knew I couldn't walk first I had to chase that sunrise. Dashed to one of my favorite places and it did not disappoint. I did walk afterwards. Went to the beach for lunch with my niece and nephew (clam chowder and a clam roll - yum). Living in Maine does have some wonderful advantages.
Simply beautiful. It occurred to me when reading your caption that you do, indeed, live in Maine. :-) We will be vacationing up there in July (I think!) in the Acadia Park per the teenager's request. Dh and I have never been up there. The teenager went last summer with a group from college on a "pre-freshman" trip and loved it, which obviously prompted his request. Reading back thru your posts this morning, I realize that health may become an issue for you, but if you're up to it and it's anywhere close to your location, it would be completely awesome to meet up! And if there's a group of 365'ers, that would be really neat too! I'm definitely doing a puffin cruise out of Bar Harbor one morning, and we'll spend a night at Baxter State Park hoping to see and hear the loons. And ANY advice you may have to help plan the trip would be MOST welcome!
@shesnapped Health and or work may be an issue but if I can I would be delighted. At the very least meet as you pass through my area in southern Maine.
The best time of day!
