Color is invading our forests!

I think there are a lot of muted colors this fall as we are in a drought. I loved the purple look of these leaves the other morning.

This purple is very eyecatching. The fall colours depend on the amount of sugar in the leaves and in a dry and/or dull period the sugar content will be lower and the colours more muted... still nice though.
