Going, Going, Gone

This is the business I work for and on November 30th the lumber yard will close even though the store will probably stay open for another month. The lumber business has been sold and like wise the very valuable land (two different parties. ) Many of the employees will be hired by the company that brought the lumber business. Us girls in the office have to wait to see if we will be hired. I am interested if it can be part-time but only part-time. (NO @vignouse I am not ready to retire completely.)
Change can be hard...I hope this transition works out for you. Charming looking building.

I hope the switch-over goes as you desire. What a quaint building. I wonder if it will stay with the new owners or if they'll tear it down. Good shot.

Lovely buildings, too bad they are going to tear them down. The side lighting looks very good.

@dianen What is happening to the land is a secret and I don't know, Eldrege brought the lumber business. And the employees just told Thur night so you wouldn't have heard.

Hopefully you will get the part time hours you are wanting, must admit I have taken to retirement completely, didn't think I would but don't regret it one little bit. I didn't expect to work into my 65th year either!!

It's important to be able to choose when to retire, not to HAVE to.

That is sad considering their history! I hope they have a slot for you. Love the details in the buildings and signs!
