@30pics4jackiesdiamond challenged me to do a picture which depicted the charm or the history of my town. Hey my project is chock full of such pictures. We got a wee snow storm last night. I shot this picture with my cell phone this afternoon. I shows one of the old mills - history Sanford was a mill town. Also in the foreground is the new park overlooking the dam - history and charm. And it is a winter scene for me this is part of the charm of living in Maine.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond here is a response to your challenge.

Glad you weren't one of the ones without power up there - quite a storm you got. Like the lighting on the old mill

VML the virgin snow and the moody sky. Wonderful how snow blankets all the gubbins of everyday life and renders it attractive...and here enhanced with sunshine.

Sanford's a fascinating town, photographically. I go there to meet my step son-in-Iaw for a Smitty's movie every once in a while. Look forward to seeing more shots from here.
