Had the most amazing day. My nephew accompanied me on an all day photo ride. It was a spectacular day. We drove to Brattleboro, Vermont stopping at Jay Peak where I got some beginners skiing, then up the mountain between Brattleboro and Bennington. Lastly headed to the King Arthur Flour store and café for a late lunch. On the way I pulled over to get the ice in the Connecticut River and we were amazed because it was moving steadily down stream. It was so beautiful. Loved this shot of the ice because the tree reflections showing on the large patch of ice making it look like an Island.
I am bowled over that my picture won Get-pushed-239 and just need to thank all of you who keep me going with your visits to my project.
Rah, rah...Joan's a star! Very well deserved! Could do with these reflections on my watch as my GP this week is reflections in a puddle. Need more rain!
Super reflections and colours.. loving how it's only the tops of the conifers which are sunlit.. you got some fabulous textures in the ice-floes..
it's lovely to hear you had such a good day..
