Took this Monday morning at the Blueberry plains. Well lots of rain today and temps above freezing slowly has this melting but the threat of flooding is now a reality. I live on a hill so never a problem for me. My pump in the cellar has been rumbling off and on all day. Ahh here comes mud season.
We got message from the town hall today to say that we are officially suffering a drought and all nonessential uses of water are banned. Could you send some snow melt, I'd like to wash our cars!
@vignouse these storms this week should officially end our drought. So I get how miserable it is. I had friends with a well who showered at the gym every day. Don't know if you have a well but can't image you have a gym in your town either. I could be wrong.
This looks more like January than April - and the b&w makes it even colder. Don't think we ever have to worry about mud season - ours is tornado season.
just checked out on google where this is and saw what it looks like in warmer weather. So interesting to be able to travel and see such different parts of the world through 365

There are Gym sessions at Paimpont every Friday morning, run by 2 super instructors, both called Julian. Age range is 50 -80+ and we make and female. The principle is to encourage and enable flexibility/fitness to the best of our individual ability. We have minimum equipment and 'Hats off' to the 2 Juliens as their programmes are such that whatever our age and/or ability, we can come out of this well. This is their 3rd year with us...and they do't take prisoners. Does help that we're all locals and know one another.
