Bread. by joansmor

Bread.

My get-pushed-partner @homeschoolmom issued this challenge. I've been seeing theme collages for sale on Facebook. I love them. My favorite is of various gun/ammo parts that spell a name. I must try one of those for my boys. But, I'd like to challenge you to make a themed collage that spells a word. You can do beach themed items, it can spell beach or your name or another word. Or use Maine themed items to spell Maine. Could be kitchen items that spell EAT! You pick the theme and word.
Well I am cheating a little doing a scrap page and am late posting because of a few set backs today. I had to wait until after I watched a live class that lasted three hours because I wasn't ready before the class. My battery died and the bread wasn't done. But supper tonight was two slices of bread. YUM Each letter is spelled out with the ingredients in order. Water is meant to be "period."
@homeschoolmom hope this works.

I love this Joan! So creative! I will have to check what shortening is as I have never heard of it? Fav!

@pamknowler Think lard

@joansmor Thanks Joan. I tested my sister and she knew what it was!! LOL!! Just before I try out your recipe can you confirm it is 2 tablespoons of sugar and not 2 teaspoons? It seems like a lot of sugar in a loaf of bread.

@pamknowler I use tsp for teaspoon and Tbsp for Tablespoon. So yes 2 Tablespoons. There is an English shortening but lard is a good substitute. Makes a nice medium loaf. Expect a picture if you like it.

Joan, I have enjoyed looking through your captures. As your get pushed partner I am heeding your request to consider your abilities. So my challenge to your is to create a capture looking up while using the rule of thirds as a guide. It can be taken inside or out. Have fun!
