@peadar my get pushed partner challenged me to- show us in an image (or images) that accountancy can be fun.
This was not my original idea but I kept putting things off and when I got home tonight I had to put things together quickly. I am always happy when the numbers come together. I even have a reconciliation dance I do each time I reconcile an account. I love numbers and they make sense to me. And a variance of this story happened more than once. People want to do things the way they always have and hate the accountants coming in changing things. Though on a few occasions they came back and admitted my way had some advantages. But not always. My boss at Rufus still calls when he has computer issues on his new company. And my new boss loves having a person with my experience working part time for her. Not a bad position of an old work horse.
Very inventive and, for something that was "last minute", impressive. Thank you! You did issue me with a challenge but time has prevented me really doing anything about it (although I'll retag my last shot as it just about qualifies). I've asked @Northy to take me out of future challenges as a change in my work situation really limits my capacity. Thanks, anyway.
Hi partner! I love your fall foliage!!! You are so lucky to have such a beautiful variety of trees and colors. I've looked through your challenges, of which you have done sooooo many, but I didn't see any silhouettes. So, your challenge this week is to do a silhouette. Here's a bit of info to help: https://digital-photography-school.com/how-to-photograph-silhouettes/
If you'd prefer a different challenge, just let me know.
Love it! LOL!. Have you seen the move The Accountant? He's a brilliant accountant by day and a hit man at night. You're an accountant by day and a photographer at night - you both shoot people! LOL!
Joan, I'm so disappointed for you that this hasn't garnered more Favs - it's photographic storytelling at it's best... you made me smile and that's always good ;-))
I had to laugh with you on this story. You could pretty much put anything in there- human nature being what it is- no one likes to change or hear that something is wrong! I probably looked like Mr. Magoo though reading it as the printing is light, but it was worth the deciphering! Smile for the day- both for you and us. Fun page!
