Birds of a feather

For the November word - feather. From our walk late this afternoon on the beach.
Ahh...wonderful representation of "feather." They seem to be very busy eating something. That water surely looks cold!

nicely done.
I think the waves really emphasize the smallness of the birds.

Great shot of the birds have a good old fossick on the beach. A good feather shot.

The birds seem to be enjoying the weather... IS it not getting much colder there? It certainly turned on us in the last 24 hours!

Great composition. I like the way the little rivulets of water lead the eyes to the sea

Absolutely love this - the waves, the wet sand left by the tide, the birds - beautiful!

They seem they are you and still changing their
feathers

Oh, I would have loved to get my feather shot here! Looks like you have sandpipers and a couple terns there. Good shot!

Love the layers of sky and ocean.

@s4sayer No the are sandpipers - brown and white not black

Pretty tones and composition.

Such a neat shot - almost two shots in one. I found I could not take in the whole scene but had to look at the sandpipers separate from the waves - but I do like how the two blend together in tonality.
