I keep all my pictures for a given year in a folder together. I have all the pictures for 2016, 2017, 2018 in the same LR catalog. Periodically I will go though the prior years doing a little housekeeping or processing photos I haven't touched before. I loved the way the sun was coming up behind the house at the harbor mouth and took it into Topaz Studio. Are you bored with my sunrises.
You couldn't get bored with beautiful scenes like this.
I have all my photos I've ever taken with a digital camera in the one catalog. I'm having trouble updating to the new version though as all my 2018 pics are missing. I have no idea why, so for now I'm still using the older version of LR until I have time to figure it out. Did you update successfully? Maybe I should ask the question in the forum.
@bella_ss I have only been using lightroom since I started using PS when they came out with the cc monthly pay version/ Before that I used Elements and the Elements catalog. I tried the Bridge program but it wasn't it didn't work for me. I had a problem with how long my first catalog took to reload so at the beginning of 2016 I started a new catalog. I have no problem switching catalogs. I have another Catalog for my scrapbook suppplies. Can you not import you 2018 into LR cc?
@joansmor I could import them all again but they won't have their edits. It's weird that it only missed the 2018 pics whereas everything else is there from the old catalog. I guess I will work it out eventually. Thanks Joan :)

This is stunning, love the composition and the back lighting through houses!
