A delightful shot with the hedge of flowers in the front and the topping of fluffy clouds like whipping cream on a pie.
Thank you for mentioning that not all get-pushed entries are in - I am notorious for not uploading my entry until Sunday night. I did not get my entry in on time.
You can blame this challenge on northy (well … her instructions in the get pushed challenge anyway) where she says that “One of the key aspects of "get pushed" is that we get "pushed" out of our photographic comfort zones... this means that you need to find something that is a CHALLENGE for your partner...”
Well, I have been following you for a number of years and I do not ever recall seeing a Zoom Blur in your project. While it looks tough, it is quite easy actually. It can be done inside or out, whatever your preference and weather. It is a lot of fun and a great technique to add to your repertoire.
And it is quite easy, actually.
What you do is use a zoom lens, focus in on your primary subject which you put in the centre of the frame, set your focus to manual so the focus does not change, use a slow shutter speed, and then turn the zoom ring (not the focus ring) when you click the shutter.
The zoom blur works best in low light like a cloudy day or in a dimly lit space, but you can adjust your aperture if there is too much bright light.
Oh - much easier to do on a tripod - probably impossible to do without!
I see that you have a number of zoom lenses, but do not know if you have a tripod. Let me know if this challenge does not work for you and I can issue another one. But I do hope you can have fun with this one!
So sorry that I got something you have already done - I tried your jrgp tag to see the ones you have already completed but it wasn't working for some reason.
You can have a choice of zoom or the word 'informal' (I just opened the dictionary and that came up)
Choice is yours - but I will keep the challenge you gave to me!

Here is a YouTube video that explains it fairly well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_C3gae9498
And here is one of my zoom blur shots. I just may give it another go today for the abstract challenge that ends tomorrow. https://365project.org/farmreporter/word-of-the-mon/2018-08-26

Look if you want to challenge me use a word like I had last week. But I will gladly try a zoom burst again.

I will remember that you said you enjoy zooming for the next time we are partnered.
