The Presumpscot River by joansmor

The Presumpscot River

When I went to the disc the second time my niece and I pulled into a no parking spot to capture the falls which are just before the disc on the river. It survived the snow storm. There is a walk along here and Jane and I are already planning this for a walk in the spring.

Presumpscot is an Abernaki word meaning many falls or many rough places.
Quite a contrast to the serene scene of the disc.

This is so different from your disc shot! The water looks cold and rough but love the deep blue of it against the white rapids.
So glad the disc survived the snow storm.

That's a rather grand name for a river... but then the river itself is equally grand!
