This box belonged to my husband. I had three different boxes on my bureau but got rid of a lot of jewelry. My Get Pushed partner @lanikyea challenged me to "to make a photo in the dark using only the light from a flashlight." For all the time I have been on 365 except the last couple of months my indoor shots are with natural or flashlight. BUt then unless someone challenges me to take a photo that evokes a feeling or represents something I have done it probably two or three times. But still fun to see if I can maybe do it better.
Pretty box- it's interesting to me that the light from the flash light is not as stark as I'd expect it to be, but it's still pretty harsh on the features of the box. The strong light really emphasizes the carving. Dare I say this might work well in black and white?!
@olivetreeann My gf checks my project most everyday even though she doesn't post and she checks out a few others and she is tired of bw so for her I kept it in color. Loyalty should be rewarded.
