I now have laundry on the first floor so no more going down into the cellar to do laundry. I good thing because I have some balance issues. Plus breathing problems. This is a stacked washer dryer and I love it. Now I can get up and run a load of laundry first thing in the morning. I never went into the basement so early because I liked to wait for it to get light out and to let my balance get steadier. When I called they said I needed and 220 and 110 lines so that is what held things up. Turns out I only needed the 220. Well, not so bad that the 110 was updated and moved to a higher spot away from the water as it is a little on the dark side in this room sometimes so I am putting a small light on top of the dryer and the cord would not go all the way to the baseboard.
Congrats on the new duo and "remodel"! If our dryer wasn't in such good shape I would have gotten a set up like this when we decided to get rid of the "monster washer" a few weeks ago. But all's well that ends well- I like the "new to me" washer a lot! Hope this works out perfectly for you!
