The moon the looked over the lighthouse

Jane and I loved the moon with a single star. Oh, I know it is probably one of the planets visible but too little time to look up to see which one. I had to remove some wires probably shows. Well it is snowing and I have work but before that, I need to take my car in to the dealer for service. So have a good day everyone.
This makes a very attractive image... nice houses. BtW, you're right - the so called 'evening star' is indeed a planet, the planet Venus.

Wonderful! I tried to get the crescent moon and Venus the other night but no good shots. I went back into the house to change lens and when I came back out they were too low in the sky to get a shot.

VML the contrast of the night sky, most effective. You have a good day too, Joan.

Wonderful capture but I think I would have cropped out a portion of the road to make it 1/3, 1/3, 1/3.

Such a great shot of your clear skies! And a great lesson from Richard!

@janiskay Have to admit I was in a hurry when I edited it but I just tried what you said and also moved it in on one side to get it more 1/3 etc on that line too. Now it will be ready for me to use on a scrap page thanks.

@farmreporter I was hoping someone would tell me and save me the time to look it up. There are times and I forget whether its when the day gets longer or shorter than you can see three planets in the sky. I loved watching them on my way home from work.
