Went to walk with Jan and when I turned on the ignition I got that dreaded sound. So ended up getting a new battery. Because I love the pictures with my phone I took this and I get more diary shots. Which means I bore you with more of them. I am poorer but the car is running for work this morning (well I haven't started it so we will see.)
One time I could tell something wasn’t right with my car and drove it to the dealer/repair shop. I turned it off while I waited for someone to help me. When they came out to look it over it wouldn’t start, needed a battery! That is the ONLY time that has happened to me, usually we’ve needed batteries on vacations and at restaurants, etc. Your phone camera is amazing, this is a super clear shot.
That is really too bad ... I also had to replace my battery yesterday. It was a an emergency fix as I had to get back home to drive school bus. got to love living in a small town where the feed store owner will give you a boost and your mechanic will get you in without an appointment! And - then you are not late for your school bus run!
I've had my share of car "surprises" and a dead battery was one of them! I had driven down to KY when Micah was born. The following day when I went to use the car, the battery was dead. I was so glad it hadn't happened while I was traveling! Glad yours was resolved without to much trouble.
