There was a fledgling on the ground. I tried to capture them together but just could find them quick enough. You can see my hummingbird feeder too. I was so in hopes of catching one but no luck. I need to change the hummingbird feeder nectar today. I just need some energy as this new med leaves me feeling drained. It seems to be getting better.
Love that mealworm feeder - will have to look for one. We had 2 hummingbirds for weeks but then had a huge gale wind that uprooted trees and made a real mess of things. Since then - no hummingbirds. We are guessing they must have been blown away. Miss them!
Interesting to see your different feeding methods to ours in the UK. Our bird tables look very different. We only have seed, peanut or fat ball feeders & have no use for nectar feeders sadly.
I was reading that mealworms are great for attracting Bluebirds which we have singing in the trees all day- but- I just can't bring myself to purchasing them! I think I'll just enjoy their singing. Good shot. Hope you feel better!
Hmm -- my birds aren't very interested in my dried worms. I wonder if I change brands? I haven't had a single hummingbird at the feeder even though I wash and change the nectar regularly. But I see them flying high overhead. I bought a feeder that is clear with metal feeding section so my friend suggested putting a red something on top.
