@vignouse This little park provides so many opportunities for photos. I can't wait for spring to get a different prospective. The people playing tennis, etc. Aren't people out in the open fair play for photos especially if you don't show their faces too clearly.
It's a complicated and nuanced subject Joan and it varies from country to country. There is also the tension between the letter of the law and what any one individual might consider acceptable. These days, with FaceBook and the like, people are becoming much more aware of their right to their personal freedoms. On the bright side, I would say that, as a photographer, you have more freedom in the USA than elsewhere and, being a sensitive and sensible person, you are going to consider the propriety of what you are doing before you click.
@vignouse I want to try to catch the action and if the face is clear I will either ask permission or fuzz out. BUt the kids playing in the park must all not have recognizable faces. I think you are right, in the states if you are in a public area you can have your picture taken. Too much rights here - I'd hate to be a celeb.
