After looking at the latest posts here I push back the curtain and spy this lovely moon. So in my pj's, slippers and thank goodness a sweatshirt I dash outside to try to photograph. Didn't post on today's because I still want to push my get pushed challenge. The sky was blue, but the ones where the sky is blue I loose the detail of the moon. I could have dashed back out again but it is 31F and my feet still are cold.
Nice capture Joan and the black background does enhance the detail of the moon. You get extra points for dashing out into 30 degrees in your pajamas! :-)
@atwinfay I keep trying but all these make me want a longer range on my zoom. First I wanted a prime and now I want a longer zoom. Have to make up my mind.
@vignouse I was happy with it. Think I can add moon shot to my done list. Though I know I'll try again at dark night. The sky here was blue but came out dark at these settings. Adjust the exposure and the clarity goes the moon get washed out. Light it is the end all be all and I have to learn more about it.
