Where's dad when you need him?

My Dad made this door for under the back porch in the family home (next door to my house). Sadly he's no longer here to replace it and my niece's husband isn't exactly a "repair man." Loved that falling apart look.
Lovely old door!

This works well as a colour 'monochrome' image.

"Tom appeared on the sidewalk with a bucket of whitewash and a long-handled brush. He surveyed the fence, and all gladness left him and a deep melancholy settled down upon his spirit. Thirty yards of board fence nine feet high. Life to him seemed hollow, and existence but a burden."

As soon as I saw your picture, I thought "Tom Sawyer!" Great old door and I wouldn't touch it - so much character like this.

@sharleen More than paint needed here, rot on the bottom.
