lovely red shiny apple for my apple pi - best viewed large. This is one of my first attempts at a composite in photoshop....a photo of my laptop then I copied and pasted the pi on another layer - and it worked! so I'm really excited about learning more in photoshop.
I think the apple should have been on the left not the right but I haven't got time to start again.
With the logo on the left you would have 'opened up' the subject, like a pac man chasing the pi. On the other hand I think your gradient is lovely with the pi in the dark corner. It will be noticed only on closer look which is nice for the story you are telling.
I didn't notice the pi to start with, and I agree that it would have been better to have the apple, and the pi, on the left with the negative space on the right. Clever stuff, though.
I agree that it would be better to have the Apple on the LHS also the "pi" is a little lost maybe would have been better in white as well ... but great job for expanding your photoshop skills :-)
