wow - thank you to everybody who commented on my get-pushed photo and got it to the PP - v.exciting seeing it there.
This is for juliphone - In this photo I'm ripping apart an old film camera in search of the little lens - to make a macro lens for my iPhone. Eventually got to it and - hooray - it works.
Here's a link to how to do it.

Your photo that made the PP was just stunning, I'm so pleased it did so well. Love this close-up shot, with great colours and textures and a fabulous circuit board! I'm so impressed with your macro lens project, well done! Fav
Congratulations on the PP, it is a fab shot and truly deserves its place there. Very interesting shot here and amazed by your skills, would be so scared to open up any camera!
congrats on the pp, and I may well have a try at this. got a number of old cameras, and an iphone without a macro lens.it certainly seems to be working for you :-)
Okay Jocasta, this is just flippin' cool! How amazing that you were able to find the lens, I am seriously impressed. This photo is wonderful, love all those details. And congrats on the pp, your shot was a winner.
Great idea to take a shot through the magnifying glass and even better idea to make your own macro lens! You are just full of good ideas and good shots!
