I've learnt so much looking at everyone's photos here on 365 - and this photo was inspired by someone (can't remember who) - so thank you to everyone who's inspired me these last fourteen months.
I think you're having a bit of fun with this - I don't believe it's what it appears to be! There is no sign of light coming through the venetian blind, which is lit by reflection from 'our' side which leads me to think that the light pattern is coming from a different source outside the image. The only other possibility I think is that the image has been flipped and the light and shadows are, in fact, on the ceiling.
@vignouse My processing has caught me out - the sunlight was coming through the blind but the shadow on the window ledge was rather grey and unspectacular. So I manipulated the shadow. I selected it and made the whites whiter and the blacks blacker. Thought it made for a more interesting image.
Do tell... Or am I just an idiot?
