does anyone know the name ?

Does anyone know the name of this plant - it's quite tall - I'd like to plant it at the back of my border.

I have no idea - it looks "thistle" like, could it be a "weed"???

Looks similar to a red sweet sultan, but I'm thinking that may not be exactly right. Definitely in the thistle family.
