A Ponderosa bud. Thanks to Richard for showing me to look again at the ever present. ( http://365project.org/vignouse/365/2017-06-12) This area is the largest contiguous Ponderosa Pine forest in the world. So often we don't see the beauty of whats around us. Thank you Richard (@vignouse).
This is also for the Dogwood 52 week challenge. Green, a color of life, nature and hope was the topic/assignment for this week.
@gardenfolk Thank you so very much for the fav. The trees have finished (mostly) with their pollen sharing but next comes the cones.
@brett101 Thank you kindly for the fav. These trees has low enough branches that I could get a shot. The ponderosas mostly are very tall, about 30+ feet.
@gardenfolk We get about 100 inches of snow on average, I'm grateful that it usually comes and goes. Flag has grown a great deal and quiet spots are becoming tougher to find.
@pickerandagrinner Thank you so much. The pollen that these babies share is truly phenomenal- yellow everywhere.
@stephanies Thank you a great deal. We just got over yellow pine pollen time so to see the inside of a new pine cone was cool.

@blueberry1222 We are in campfire restrictions now so might want to wait.
