Exposure compensation Test

Dogwood Week 51 - technical exposure compensation. "...use exposure compensation mode on your camera to capture a backlit or other challenging lighting situation."

Each time I do one of these technical challenges I do learn however, I would have chosen to add a small spot of light to the bloom but that didn't seem to be part of this learning experience. I am partial to the +1 exposure.

Onward I trudge....
I like the +2 best

facinating ... I like the +1 too... but +2 is pretty cool too.

2 is my preference. It makes me think what animals might feel like when they're not on top form. In this case...Post Party Rabbits!?

@s4sayer Very thankful for the fav. This is a Seguaro cactus which is growing inside so its confused. Our elevation and climate are too harsh for this beauty to survive outside. It will also take a very long time to grow into maturity- 150 -200 years and I don't want to think about being around then..:):)

@fbailey You are so kind, very appreciative of the fav. It is a button on my camera, mine looks like a little square with a +/- on it. Check your manual to see you have one or maybe its on the menu. If you shoot raw, then you can do this in post with the exposure slider. This might help ( https://imaging.nikon.com/support/digitutor/d3300/functions/exposurecomp.html )
