Framed No.3

Dogwood Challenge - week 28 - culture. Yesterday I mentioned a culture from long ago so, today I go more contemporary, the Moon. Flagstaff played an important role in the Apollo missions ( https://www.azcentral.com/story/travel/arizona/road-trips/2019/07/01/apollo-11-moon-landing-flagstaff-arizona-meteor-crater-lowell-observatory-cinder-lake-crater-field/1517388001/ ).

I am looking forward to celebrating the moment that Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon - July 20th, 1969 @9:30pm Houston Texas time. The local time for me will be 7:30pm. I am not certain exactly what I will do but, I hope to document it.
This tree makes me think of a supple athlete or the like, whose body has a way of its own. Like the 'frame' too!

@s4sayer I now have a deeper appreciation of dead or bare trees, thank you. I've always love their lines and curves.

@jernst1779 Thank you so much for the fav. The moon won't rise until after 10pm here so my 1st idea of taking a picture of the moon while on a trail is sorta out but maybe I can find an alternative.

@sugarmuser Thank you a great deal and I agree.

@onewing Thank you so much. I wish I'd had a telephoto lens but maybe next time- like I needed a reason to go back, since I love the area.:):)

@olivetreeann Thank you so kindly for the fav. I remember my Mother was glued to the TV and I am very happy she 'made' us kids watch even though we wanted to play hide and seek instead.

@samae Truly thankful, really appreciate the fav.

@golftragic Thank you so much. It amazes me how they accomplished what they did.

@eudora Very grateful for the fav. You can go 5 mines outside of Flagstaff and really feel like you might be on a different planet, lots of nothing out there.

@fbailey Thank you so kindly for the fav. I totally agree that Mother Nature has the best ideas.

@haskar Thank you so very much.

@ninaganci Thank you so very much, truly am grateful for the fav.
