Experiment

Please let me know if this works? It is an attempt with the deconstructed landscape technique. The images were not composed for such but all of the same scene and of course this is faffed until the cows have come home and even gone back out in the morning....

Taken at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania in 2012.
It reminds me of a photo taken from a train!

Oh...I do like this! It makes me think of those moments when one idea impinges on another and another...and yet one more. What fun for us (ladies) to bask in such pleasures. IMHO not a male idea.

I really like it. It is a feast for the eyes - so much to look at and a pleasing effect. And I just had to go look up that technique. Interesting. Looks like there are a few different ways to put it together.

Do what makes U happy w/ ur ART—don’t need our opinion or approval.👌🥰👌

@s4sayer Thank you a great, we ladies have come so far in photography and to take leaps is good for our art.

@jernst1779 Truly thankful. There are so many ways to slice up and re-stitch things- Now all I need is patience with myself.

@dustyloup There is a very old movie (Top Secret-1984) that has a scene where the character played by Val Kilmer is painting on a train and then they show his work which is just a blurred landscape- I was not really going for that but it fits.

@joemuli You just made my day! I try to create art for me but there will always be a need a little bit of 'what do you think'. Truly appreciate the support in all ways.

I like this unobviousness. You lose confidence in seeing. Are you looking for overtones ... Or afterimages?

Very cool editing, it’s like having double vision

I really like this too ... so much to feast your eyes on

I don't know much about deconstructed photography- but that doesn't really matter. I like the Andrew Wyeth feel of the colors- very artistic. I like the layering- very dreamy. I am not too far from Longwood Gardens but I've never been there! fav

An interesting study. There's so much more than first meets the eye.

I have no idea what techniques you are talking about, but the effect is a very interesting photo that looks something like a double exposure and a picture taken through a window.

@ninaganci Thank you so much, pushing limits is often I learn more.

@haskar I had thought to just play with ghost images that were somewhat connected. There is a great deal of latitude with technique. Most grateful for the fav.

@sugarmuser Thank you a great deal. If I can't find my reading glasses, this stuff happens alot :-)

@samae What a nice thing to say, thank you so kindly for the fav too.

@olivetreeann Thank you a great deal for the fav. This area of Longwood is east of hourglass lake, way off the beaten path. My husband and I lived just 8 miles from the gardens so we would go a lot. I haven't been since 2016 so I am not certain if these buildings still are there but I believe they are. I miss Longwood a great deal, it was always changing and always gorgeous.

@genealogygenie Thank you, it is a blast to play with layers and slices of images- art has no real limits for me.

My first impression was double reflection from a moving vehicle...very interesting look

@mbrutus I guess you could refer to this as creating an abstract on a large scale out of a landscape. I saw someone had challenged their 'get pushed' partner to do one and thought I'd give it a go. I started with a google search and went directly to images which gave me some ideas then I landed on this site ( http://www.msdjordjevicart.com/creative-photo/the-deconstructed-landscape ) for a few more ideas. Learning by doing is most fun (at least most times), falling flat on my arse can happen too. :-)

@bubblequeen Thank you kindly, it was a faffing good time.....

Works for me! Even if I agree with @joemuli , isn’t all this posting, exhibiting, sharing about being liked, approved, loved? I will give a try to this technique!

@domenicododaro Every once in a while, I must step up and out of my box and explore. Give it a try, would love to see what you come up with 📷📷 Most thankful for the fav.

I love this--and it brought back nice memories of Longwood Gardens from when we lived near there a long time ago. Fav.

@eudora I too miss Longwood. We would go almost weekly, we lived about 12 miles away. We left in 2013. We did go back for a visit in 2015, it seemed so different, there was a great deal of construction going so I guess that was the reason. One of my favorite times there was when they had a night photography session with the Bruce Munro exhibit. We had the gardens to ourselves for 4+ hours at night. So very thankful for the fav.
