Tree in sections by joysabin

Tree in sections

This is blending of 8 different shots back into one. The tree was about 15 feet away so I thought to try sectional shots and recombine in post. The tree is about 60+ feet tall. There is always bits and odds edges to content with when I photomerge in post. I actually liked how the white edges worked so, I choose not to crop them away. I also added a couple of black boarders.
The hoar frost is so amazing on the pine needles. A great way to show the majesty of this tree.

This could start a trend. I'm certainly gonna think twice before filling in the gaps from now on. Super shot.

Thank you all so very much. I was very surprised how it all worked out. If I had used a standard crop I think that the tree would have felt tight and looked odd.
