The Peanut Butter Tree in my yard has been producing these lovely blue seeds. They start out light blue and progress to a dark lovely shade. I don't think that blue isn't often seen in plants. The blooms in the summer have a jasmine aroma.
This is also day 4 of the one week only challenge, fill the frame. I used a 36mm extension tube to get this close up.
This is astonishing.
I've never heard of Peanut butter tree.
I haven't seen such pink and blue flowers
How tiny are they? - I don't know why I assume they are tiny.
@joysabin Really, i should look for this one. It is splendid! @byrdlip I really thought you were joking :D You know those thin mint chocolates ? After eight. Those are my favourites.
But from the link, I think that is the peppermint version of mint, isn't it (the strong flavour one, with darker leaves)? My father has a dedicated area in the garden for that. :D
i've never heard of this tree or its flowers. but i have seen a bush in our horticultural garden with a cluster of very blue flowers. they are rather attractive. aces!

Thank you all so very much for your most kind and supportive comments. I am going to try and grow it from the seeds. If that doesn't work, off to the local nursery for some advice but more than likely a starter tree.

@byrdlip I wonder if I could get a tea of some sort? Its the leaves that when rubbed together have a peanut butter aroma.
