From sunshine yesterday to frost and fog this morning. I am in piggy heaven. I explored Oregon State University campus this morning in the fog. The campus has changed and not over the years since I was a student here.
I was also using an orange filter with the camera on monotone setting to help capture the fog and such better. I am rather pleased how things came out.
Fantastic capture.
We spent several years in Oregon. My husband worked for PeaceHealth. He began with them in 1996 (St. Joseph Hospital in Bellingham). During that time I was the Lynden Middle School Librarian from 1980-1996 and in 1996 he transferred to Sacred Heart in Eugene, Oregon. We were there for a few years then went to Florence where he was at Peace Harbor Hospital and I was the half-time communications person for PeaceHealth-Florence. It was while we were in Florence that I began my first 365 Project. The Oregon Coast was a wonderful place to get my first DSLR camera (Nikon D90) and I did my first 365 Project in 2011. When we moved to Seattle in 2000, I felt like I was moving into a city of big buildings and I kind of lost my mojo. That was really hard. I’ve dipped in and out for a few years and then I upgraded my camera to a Nikon D750 and feel like I am having to learn all over again. I’m a determined person and I refuse to let my age dictate what I do. Memory is not as sharp but I am plugging away without the Oregon Coast and trying to recapture all of what I used to know. I am really enjoying your captures - you have a great eye.
So very grateful and truly thank you all for your kind and supportive comments. Dumbledore must have walked ahead of me, the lights were out along the walkway when I came back this way.
