It's the law here. Fabulous astronomical event occuring? Must be mandatory bring in thick cloud or fog!. I'm sad for you that it didn't show 😞

@30pics4jackiesdiamond @marlboromaam This is Western Oregon and the fall is always full of surprises and rain. I did make a filter so that I could have captured the event but now I get to try it on a regular sunny day. The local university art department teamed up with a local astronomy club and showed us how to make a homemade filter with solar protective film and cardboard.
