@kali66 Thank you, there is a great deal of open land that is being swallowed up but Mother Nature still may have the last laugh.

@blueberry1222 You should go, Borrego Springs is a small but thriving community. Salton Sea is close by too. Night shots with these sculptures is a favorite too.

@overalvandaan There are times when the term "only in the California desert' explains so much.

This dragon reminds me a little of the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland.
