Discovered a different level of Sedona - Almost no tourists. I drove into the town on this morning not realizing that it was a holiday, Martin Luther King Day. Free entrance fee to National Parks but most of Sedona isn't but, came they did and it was mobbed at the 'hot spots'. I I drove to the back side of Cathedral Rock in the Village of Oak Creek. I am so going back but will pay attention to the calendar next time. Shot with my lensbaby sweet 35 but without any tilt so the blur is barely noticeable which works rather well here.
@overalvandaan You are so very kind, thank you for the fav. Having discovered a less touristy area of Sedona was worth the drive down south.
@eudora Thank you so much, the road turned to gravel just a bit behind where I took this. I need to bring/drive something other than my beloved bug for that.
I ran across YouTube by the Verde Valley Archeology Center given by Paul Lindberg. Learned things that I didn't know and things I should have stopped and explored. Fascinating place.

@taffy Very grateful, thank you.
@joemuli Thank you and such a cool song.
@smisag Thank you a great deal.
@sunshinepix Thank you so very much.
@cjphoto The road was so empty- a rather nice change from other parts of Sedona.
@ingajohansson Tis a true gift to find this side of the rocks. Sedona is gorgeous but so infected with 'us' tourists.
