Okay, a 3-fer.
1. Dogwood Challenge - capture an image on your terms, caveat: you must tell us your intent.
This taken at one of my favorite haunts, Kendrick Park, I had just noticed some smoke near Mt, Humphreys and was looking through the trees to see what was what. The idea to make this my challenge shot fit perfectly. A fire in this area is always a concern but this was a prescribed burn to burn off potential fuel for any future wildfire. A forest service technician who happened by and was checking other areas had actually set this one. The lack of snow for the season is a huge concern for the upcoming spring and early summer. The basic idea of a forest fire in mid winter just is so strange.
