There is a telescope housing just outside of the observatory on the campus at Northern Arizona University which has fascinated me for some time. I stopped by on the way back home after having snagged the moonset shot ( https://365project.org/joysabin/pmae ). I had wanted to get the sun rising through it but alas the position and the sun's location didn't agree. I resorted to a composite image.
@mastermek I have the luxury of walking around campus to explore and ponder while the poor students are rushing around and don't 'see' the cool stuff/ @tstb13 It is, I am not a telescope intelligent person by any means but this is made of what appears to be cast iron and is well taken care of even though it is left outside now.
