PMAE No. 338

Opened up the forests since we have started the monsoon season. I know that I complained about the dry winter around here but our rains came and now I am praying for some relief for rest of everyone else.

This is Prime Lake, a favorite hike. Mr. S accompanied me and we saw green coming back and even mud puddles. The lake is really just a wetter green area for birds- not a traditional lake.

Better on black if you can.
How wonderful to see some green at last.

Beautiful image. Nice to see the green coming back to your landscape. BTW, here is tropical Louisiana we also complained this summer about too little rain, and now too much....

@eudora Thank you so much. I think that Mother Nature is having a good chuckle at our expense because she will be fine, but us chickens, maybe not so much.

@golftragic It is and to be able to get back into the forests but I feel so for Northern California.

@joysabin Oh yes, those fires are getting a lot of coverage here. Australia has terrible bushfires too so people have a good grasp of what's happening. Apparently some of our fire-fighters have gone to help for a few weeks.

@golftragic They are hero's.

@joysabin Absolutely right!! Don't know about you folks, but we call all fire-fighters (urban and rural) firies. We Aussies shorten all sorts of words, ambulance crew are ambos, for example.

What a beautiful scenery 💕

Wonderful the way you're capturing the changing of the season. The pano with the 'green lake' works well

@s4sayer Being able to walk again away from all the noise is a true gift.

@yaorenliu The green is good but we are high desert so open brown areas are all over. I just like being able to walk here again.

@blueberry1222 Is Payson double digits on a regular basis? Lots of great things in that area.

@henrir Thank you so much.

@joemuli Thank you a great deal.

@taffy Truly love this area, close but not many people venture out to this 'lake'.

What a great pano. Shows so well what your countryside looks like.

Great panorama. really shows the contrast between the dried out and the new green areas.

The weather are oppressive. A wonderful fresh green on the lake.

@thistle Thank you a great deal. We are high desert, 7000 ft. It is dry but not anywhere as hot as Phoenix. The best part of this area is that I can get away to absolute quiet in about 15 minutes. Gotta love the middle of nowhere.

@jernst1779 Thank you a great deal. So wonderful to have some green again.

@haskar This year has seen some strange weather but then it seems that it has been different in lots of places.

Gorgeous clouds! I wonder when we will see rain again? Maybe November or December if we are lucky!
