That winter you ordered is having trouble starting
Diego appears to be contemplating the dusting of snow we received to start the year. If he’s anything like me, he’s thanking his lucky stars we got less than an inch so the shovels didn’t have to come out. But since he’s 20 months old, new to the concepts of winter, cold, snow, and shoveling, and an avid fan of the outdoors regardless of weather, I would have to say his thoughts on the matter were likely radically different than my own. To him, this was alien and interesting; a sheet of white falling from the sky and gently blanketing the route he walks each day, converting it into someplace new and exciting.
