I live in Cambridge with my husband, Nigel, my two teenage children, two cats and Monty the dog. I was a research scientist in molecular biology for about 18 years but now I work at home as part of my husband's business consultancy. I spend a lot of time walking around Cambridge and the surrounding villages with Monty and quite often spot things to photograph (usually wonky as Monty doesn't sit still while I'm trying to take the pictures). I'm into my third year now and when I started this project I worried that inspiration would dry up - obviously I now know that you get stacks of inspiration from everybody else's amazing pics. I started the year resolving to get back to a shot a day and promptly fell by the wayside so I'm just going to do my best instead!
