We don't have any mountains in West Texas, but we do have blue skies and rugged land. Once I got out of the car and began taking pictures, my sister reminded me about all the rattle snakes that had been making themselves known. I wasn't so eager to leave the car after that. Sure enough, we saw several dead rattlers on the highway. Yikes!
