Today ends my color challenge. I have to admit, having a project and challenging myself kept me on my camera. They say the way to improve your photography is to practice, practice, practice. (Preaching to myself)
Last week I traveled to west Texas to visit my sisters. I took the back roads back home and this lovely scene played out before me. There was no one on the road but me, so I easily took this picture. So for the last day of my challenge, I deviate from the project, but this could work for blue, yellow, and green.
@mbrutus@olivetreeann@radiogirl I always have to make sure no one is coming when I stop on the road like that. More often than not, if I am parked on the side of the road, a trucker will stop to offer help. It makes me uncomfortable for them to stop like that, even though I know they are only trying to help. I thank them for their wonderful concern, then explain that I am only trying to take a picture. I've learned just to keep going as soon as I see a vehicle. Thank you for all the comments! @seattlite
@judyc57 That is an interesting perspective. My family always gets on me for taking a picture from the car with my point and shoot camera. And around here, you cant stop very safely on freeways to take a photo.
