I don't know about other states, but in Texas you will randomly see bales of hay in the fields. There are some creative and talented folks who paint scenes on the sides of the bales. Such is the case in Anson, Texas. In this case, they moved their art on the streets of this small west Texas town.

Fun photo! They do this in October in a small town near us, and it is a competition between businesses. I think the suggested theme this year was Marvel Comics, although not all follow the theme.
