Never have I ever caught a bird in flight. I was kind of excited about this! To be honest, it wasn't because I was patient and sat waiting for them. There was a LARGE colony of egrets perched high in the trees. The neighbors found them to be a nuisance and called in a tree cutting business to trim the trees. They were flying everywhere.
