We had a lovely sermon today. and it got me to thinking about the state of our country. There are so many things to divide us; politics, the media, the virus, social justice issues, rights (real or perceived) etc. We unfriend and unfollow those we disagree with, but what we should be doing is trying to understand one another. We will never understand each other if we fail to have discussions! How about we give each other grace and respect and most assuredly TURN OFF THE NEWS! Disagreement does not equal hate and hate is definitely not a natural form of disagreement. We have made these words synonyms when talking about politics. Peace and unity start in our own hearts. From there it spreads if we allow it to. Peace out!
