"All the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey" These leaves and sky remind me of the lines in California Dreaming by the Mamas and the Papas. It's not fall right now, but the winter snow storm that hit Texas and sent our temperature into single digits killed many of our trees, thus, the brown leaves.
